Frequently asked
Booking and payment
How is a booking confirmed?
Pick your dates and send a free request. The provider confirms availability and holds the dates on option for a few days. Once you pay the deposit the charter contract is issued; the balance is usually due before embarkation.
How are the deposit and balance paid?
After the provider confirms, a deposit at the rate shown on each yacht's page (usually 50%) is requested; the balance is due before embarkation. Payment methods and bank details are in the charter contract.
What are the cancellation terms?
Cancellation and refund terms are listed in each yacht's 'Charter terms' section and shown for your consent when you request. If weather keeps the yacht in port, the captain proposes an alternative route.
What is APA?
APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an advance — a percentage of the charter fee — paid on crewed charters to cover fuel, food & drinks and port fees. Spending is shown with receipts and any balance is refunded.

What is included in a gulet charter price?
On a crewed charter the yacht, captain and crew, bed linen, cleaning and insurance are included. Fuel, food & drinks and port fees are usually paid separately via an APA (advance provisioning allowance) or a half/full-board package. Every yacht page lists exactly what is and isn't included.
When is the best time for a blue cruise?
The season runs from May to the end of October. June and September offer warm water, quieter bays and better prices; July and August are the busiest and most expensive. Prices are lowest in May and October.
Can we sail to the Greek islands?
Yes — many yachts can cross to Kos, Rhodes, Symi or Kastellorizo. Transit log, customs and passport formalities add a fee and time; mention it in your request and the provider will quote the route accordingly.
What is the difference between a gulet, motor yacht, sailing yacht and catamaran?
A gulet is a spacious, crewed wooden yacht — the most comfortable choice for families and groups. A motor yacht is fast, for seeing many bays in a short time. A sailing yacht suits those who love the wind; skippered or bareboat with a licence. A catamaran's twin hulls keep it stable and roomy.

What do I need for a bareboat charter?
For a bareboat charter in Türkiye at least one crew member needs an internationally recognised skipper licence (ICC or equivalent) and a VHF radio certificate. If you don't have one, choose a skippered charter.
How do I get from the airport to the yacht?
Use Dalaman (DLM) for Göcek, Fethiye and Marmaris, Bodrum-Milas (BJV) for Bodrum and Yalıkavak, and Antalya (AYT) for Kemer and Kaş. You can add a private transfer from the extras section.
Are children and pets welcome?
Children are welcome on every yacht; life jackets and any age limits are listed. Pets depend on the yacht — mention them in your request.
